Shree Ganesh Jewellery House

Founded in 2002 in Kolkata by brothers Nilesh Parekh and Umesh Parekh, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House quickly rose to prominence as one of India's leading manufacturers and exporters of handcrafted gold jewellery. With a vision to bring Indian artistry to the global stage, the company established its first manufacturing facility at the Manikanchan Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Kolkata, marking the beginning of its large-scale production. Over the years, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House expanded its presence internationally, exporting exquisite jewellery to markets in UAE, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Recognized for its excellence, the company earned the prestigious Four Star Export House certification, solidifying its reputation as a key player in the jewellery industry. In 2010, the company reached a major milestone with its Initial Public Offering (IPO), fueling expansion across India with multiple large-format stores in cities like Mumbai and Kolkata. At its peak, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House operated 46 stores across 34 cities, offering a diverse range of traditional and contemporary gold jewellery designs. However, the company faced challenges, including legal and financial hurdles, which impacted its operations and market standing. Despite these setbacks, the brand remains a significant name in India's jewellery industry, known for its legacy of craftsmanship, entrepreneurial ambition, and a vision that transformed Indian jewellery into a global phenomenon.
